Materials include an amateur watercolor painting from page 14 of the album, a post card addressed to John Alston from page 34 of the album, as well as a bible page, a program from a communion service at an unidentified church, and a handwritten description of African American Baptist cemeteries on Alexander Street in Charleston, SC from the back cover of the album.
